Dr. Ellie McConnaughy is a dynamic speaker and clinical psychologist, skilled at coaching groups and individuals. She has worked with clients dealing with anxiety and trauma in her private clinical practice for more than 20 years. Her coaching experiences include working with both individuals and groups in school, business, community, and ministerial settings. She is expert at facilitating groups for both learning and personal development. Dr. McConnaughy was a lecturer in psychology at the University of Rhode Island, and an adjunct professor at Dean College. Within Toastmasters International, she holds the rank of “Distinguished Toastmaster” and was voted “Area Governor of the Year”. With the Dale Carnegie Corporate Training program, she helped facilitate classes and won the “Highest Award for Achievement.” She has also held a leadership role as part of the Landmark Education personal transformation program.

She has created and taught classes to help people live closer to God and to be more open to God’s guidance and love. She has been part of a prayer ministry for many years, and has served on the governing board of her home church.

She also presents workshops on relationships and healthy living, and delivers sermons at her home church. Dr. McConnaughy is an Energy Medicine Practitioner from the Rhys Thomas Institute for energy medicine. She is currently working on a book entitled God's Love and Self-Compassion: Power for Healing and Joy.
